SmartReceipt, Inc., is a marketing solutions company whose software products transform ordinary receipts into engaging “smart” receipts. This real-time, behavior-driven communication medium is proven to generate revenue and influence consumer purchasing decisions.
Each year more than 250 billion receipts are handed to consumers in the United States alone. Most of these receipts include only the details of the transactions themselves, ignoring the enormous potential of this direct-to-consumer communications opportunity. Targeted marketing, nutrition education, location-based advertising, and consumer purchasing analytics are all possible with SmartReceipt’s unique technology platform.
Our Marketing products help retailers and restaurants generate revenue and increase customer frequency. Our Nutricate products deliver personalized nutrition information and education to consumers at worksite, government and healthcare foodservice outlets as well as restaurants, helping them make smarter food purchasing decisions. The technology-enabled solution can reside on any POS system and is centrally managed online.
SmartReceipt clients are handing millions of receipts to their customers every month. While SmartReceipt is now bringing value to the same piece of paper that was previously finding its way into the trash can, it still takes trees to make paper. So, for every tree needed to make SmartReceipts, we are committed to planting two more. While we know it’s a small step, we see it as a step in the right direction.
